Valerio Betta,
painter, born in Nozza , Italy. He lives and works there

After gradueting with the course oganised by Italian
Artist Association in Brescia, given by famed italian
master Oscar Di Prata , Valerio Betta also attended
classes given by maste G. Nino Ramorino, whom he met
years ago, thus learning etching tecnique, among other
things. This increased his means of expression. By the
encounter with maestro Ramorino,a well taented teacher
for painters in Italy, new space have opened for his
artistic sesitiveness. In his studio-workshop BETTA
personally carries-out process of incision and printing,
alternating them to coloured graphic and modulation of
drawing.
His also paint on canvasses prepared with a layer of
saud. That given to his paintinngs some wintry
atmospheres where colours become worm, uman intimate and
rosy sensations.
Valerio Betta water-colours are filled with you. His
landscapes of valley sorruonding Garda lake, his lake
side views almost remind us of 18th century miniatures,
dreams walking on colour.When he paints his pot of
flowers they lose themselves with the background itself
lives in an atmosphere of flowers and leaves. Valerio
Betta started to show-up in pubblic as an artist first in
1970, partecipating in several exibition.
His first important show was is art-gallery "La
Cornice" Desenzano-Brescia, Italyin 1977 and then in
art-gallery "La Proiezione" of Verona in 1980.
In 1976 he obtains in Milan the "Contemporary
italian graphic award" and in 1978 the "Moretto
Prize" in Brescia.
In 1979 and 1980 he kept years long exibition in
Salsomaggiore Terme - Art Gallery facyng great successe
from critics and collettors..
He alternates personal shows during international
manifestations: in 1985 Betta was invited to biennal show
at "Seetal" in Zurich Switzerland. In 1988 he
was among other artist in the biennal of La Spezia -
Italy. In 1993 we was with his works in the "
Italian Pavillion " in Tokyo.
Graphic works of Betta in national library of both, Rome
and Florence, so as museum of modern art in Paris and
Amsterdam. He has also been in the file of venice biennal
and in the art-gallery of Suzzara-Mantova Italy.
Furthermore his work is documented in " File for
italian art of the '900 in Florence, and in " Museum
of information" -Senigalia, Italy. Valerio Betta is
also part taker in the " Civic collection of
drawing" in Salò, Italy. His name is included in
Bolaffi and Comanducci catalogues for art in Italy.
